Must read

The anticipation for Nothing Phone (2) is slowly building, as people have been waiting for its launch since its predecessor made a mark in the market. Nothing Phone (1) was launched in July, 2022 and since then it has been suggested by the company that there will be a successor.

Finally the company has revealed that the Nothing Phone (2) will be launched this summer, but an exact date hasn’t been given yet. After the official confirmation of the phone coming up soon, Nothing has also shared the key specifications or certain aspects of the phone.

Let’s have a look at what the Nothing Phone (2) is going to flaunt.

Nothing Phone (2) key specifications

This smartphone will be coming with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Talking about storage, it will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

The phone will feature a Glyph interface which basically means a transparent rear panel which houses a number of LED lights. But definitely there’ll be aesthetic differences here and there trying to give it a new, refreshed look. Not to forget that the company has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will have an AMOLED screen, but the refresh rate hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Except for these, the company hasn’t spoken about the phone’s camera as such. It has mentioned that Nothing Phone (2) will be packed with a 5,000mAh battery, but the charging support is unknown as of yet.

Miscellaneous information about the Nothing Phone (2)

The Nothing Phone (2) has been specified as a premium phone. So, we aren’t really looking at a mid-range phone here. Looks like Carl Pei is aiming to turn this into a flagship phone.

The phone will first launch in the US and then eventually move to other global markets. But, it has been confirmed that the phone is definitely coming to India soon after the launch as the phone’s battery unit was spotted on the BIS website .

As of now this is all we know about the Nothing Phone (2) and that has been confirmed by the company itself. Eventually we hope that more information  is served by the company regarding the phone before its launch.
