Google I/O 2023 is here and we finally have all the information on the hardware and software announcements from the brand. One of the highlights of the event is the much awaited A series smartphone —the Google Pixel 7a

The smartphone had garnered a lot of attention in the first quarter because of continuous leaks and reveals exciting the Pixel fans.

The Google Pixel 7a is Google’s mid-range alternative in the Indian market and it shares design traits of Pixel 7 series.

Today, at the developers conference, which was held at the Mountain View’s Shoreline Amphitheatre, Google revealed all the features of Google Pixel 7a.

Google Pixel 7a : Specifications

Display

To start off with the display of the device, Google Pixel 7a features a 6.1-inch full-screen display with 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ (1080×2400) OLED at 429 PPI pixel density. 

Additionally, the display has HDR support and a full 8-bit depth for 16 million colours. 

Dimensions

The smartphone flaunts 152 height x 72.9 width x 9.0 depth while weighing 193.5 g. The device is available in three colours: Charcoal, Sea, and Snow. 

Camera

The Google Pixel 7a sports a dual camera setup with 64MP Quad PD Quad Bayer wide camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera alongside featuring an 13MP front camera. The cameras support autofocus with dual pixel phase detection and optical and electronic image stabilisation.

Battery

The battery capacity of the smartphone is 4300 mAh and the brand claims that it can run up to 24 hours with regular use. Enabling Extreme Battery Saver will increase the endurance to 72 hours. 

Memory 

The smartphone offers an 8 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

It runs on Google’s own Tensor G2 processor.

Google Pixel 7a: Price and Availability 

The Google Pixel 7a is now available on Flipkart for purchase at ₹39,999. Buyers can opt for an EMI option which starts at ₹3,333/- per month. The smartphone can be availed with a discount of ₹4000/- through HDFC Bank Cards.

Moreover, Google is offering an extra ₹4000/- exchange discount.

The Google Pixel 7a box will comprise of USB-C cable (USB 2.0) with a Quick Switch Adapter, Support Card and SIM tool along with the handset.
